Rebecca Morris paints expressionist landscapes, taking inspiration from her walks on the hills around her home in Cheltenham & returns again & again to big, moody skies. Rebecca uses fluid acrylics which, along with oversized brushes & a water spray, help her to achieve soft, ethereal landscapes with washes of colour enhanced by oil bars.
Like many artists over the lockdown period, Rebecca moved her studio to her home & adjusted her focus - working on a much smaller scale & juggling painting with homeschooling her two sons. Instagram has been a fantastic support to her & the #artistsupportpledge enabled her to sell well & buy art from some of her favourite artists in return. She has recently been auctioning paintings for charity & is thrilled to be part of our Art For Charity Collective, as are we to have her.
